Well, at the end of last semester I found out that my photography professor had sent one of prints from the final in her class to the Fusion class. It's been months since that class ended and I haven't heard a thing back regarding what got in and wdhat didn't. Being curious, I decided to do a search on the college website to see if I could find out anything about the publication. And low and behold....
I got published!!!
Not only did my photography print get in, but I have at least one painting in the publication and my wood carving assignment from my sculpture class got in. Woohoo!!
Lol, now I just have to find a time to get down to the college to pick up my copy of the publication!

The stress and frustration is from the fact that everytime I think I've figured out where to go next regarding schooling something else comes up that messes it up. It turns out that getting my BFA might be the best route after all, as by the time you add up all the extra training I was considering it would end up costing as much or more than going to Kendall and likely taking much longer. The jewelry school I was considering in Oregon only teaches you how to make the jewelry and not so much regarding how to design it or anything on the business end, whereas Kendall's BFA program does. But, of course, there is the issue of Kendall's cost and finding housing out there. Erin and I are hoping that after she completes her current training (yup, she's taking more classes again only this time through the Bay/Arenac ISD) that she'll be able to get a job out in/near Grand Rapids and I can stay with her.
Other than Web Design, what classes do you have this semester?
I have Electric page design, Art history and Appreciation 1, and 3D Design
